  • DISCUSSION: Club Buzz

I just randomly thought about this: Club Buzz.

I want to share a story.

It was a cold, yet sunny early January afternoon at Disneyland. The characters came by and got up on stage and did the "YMCA." The characters that came by were Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Buzz, Peter Pan, and Mulan.

The DJ came up on stage at the end of "YMCA" to Peter Pan and said "Don't worry, Peter. You'll get the hang of it."

Just then, the DJ played "Bye, Bye, Bye" by N'Sync. Just then, Peter got mad and started to run off. The DJ then said "Hey, wait, Peter, where are you going? Isn't that your favorite song?" The crowd then went "ohhhh..." (I can only imagine how upset Peter would be if someone played "Please Please Me" by The Beatles... Sorry, remember, I'm a big Beatles fan...):lmao:

Just then, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Buzz, and there was one more character (not Mulan) started dancing like N'Sync! HA HA HA!

    Just sharing....

ahaha. its stories like that that actually show that the Buzz stage had some meaning.

              at least, not anymore.

No, and good riddance. I thought the whole concept of Club Buzz was rather stupid, compared to the simplicity of the Tommorrowland Terrace.

Thanks for the story . I think there's a couple videos like that in youtube.

Technically Club Buzz is still with us. They still haven't updated the cash registers in Tomorrowland Terrace. At least from Thanksgiving weekend...

Whenever I walked by Club Buzz as it was preforming, i would laugh and make fun of it with my friends....I thought it was lame and stupid. Now the Jedi training, that is the disneyland spirit!
