That's right. While waiting to board California Screamin' today (05-15-05), the CM in charge of dispatch announced that everyone should make sure to check out the Main Street Electrical Parade while they can because it would be moving to Hong Kong Disneyland in September. I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or if this is official yet, but it was news to me! What do you think?

Again, for the last time, cast members are giving out the wrong information.
The Electrical parade is not going anywhere! It is going down in the holiday season for a refurb, though.
Hong Kong is getting an electrical parade, but it is not ours.

ORDDU: If my sisters and I are not mistaken, Hong Kong Disneyland will be getting the Electrical Parade that used to be at Walt Disney World and, then, was transferred to Disneyland Paris. So, now that Disneyland Paris has a different sort of night time parade, it would make more sense that Hong Kong would inherit the FRENCH version.Comment

As others have stated, the parade is not moving out of DCA.
The version HKDL is receiving is the one from EDL, originally from MK.
Our MSEP is still stuck in DCA & will continue to be until DCA gets some original nighttime entertainment of it's own, rather than stealing from DL.

I think even if they do get more nightime entertainment for DCA the Electical Parade is fine thre (granted it needs newer floats)
I mean DIsneyland has two nightime offerings and then DCA could have two nightime offerings also"We all have sparks, imagination! it's how our minds... create creations!"Comment

I know people think that Fireworks and fantasmic are enough nightime offerings for disneyland, but i disagree. I would love to have a nighttime specific parade back in disneyland.
they already run the parade of dreams at night too(though not so dark in summer), so a night specific parade should never be out of the running.Comment

Maybe they need to bring the MSEP from Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade - Dreamlights. That would be awsome if they did !!!!!
