Really? That's really early compared to last year being at 4 PM

Yes, I thought it was earlier than last year too. But when you realize that it is Regis and Kelly who are hosting and 9 AM (Pacific) is the usual time for their talk show, it kind of makes sense. Also, it will run for two hours.

Well, the parade at WDW was filmed last week. So, it's just whenever the station wants to air it. We're getting it at 9 a.m. MST. We've got it set on the DVR, because we were in Disneyland for that part of the taping - and my boys are sure they're going to be on TV!

I set my DVD recorder last night to record the HD ABC channel .. the parade started at 9 AM here in the north valley of Utah.

Thanks for confirming that. I checked this morning and couldn't believe it was on so late.

10 AM here in New York, but it's usually on around that time.

The new commercial for The Year of a Million Dreams is really clever and creative. The Haunted Mansion scene is problematic, though, and I would prefer that the horticulture person be dressed in an appropriate turn-of-the-19th-Century costume. But, otherwise, I love the ad.

Wouldn't it be better to just lose the conceit of the parade and call the special something more general like a Christmas Day celebration?

All of these pre-taped segments make the event seem like one big commercial, which I know is what the show originally was. But, Disney owns ABC, now, so can't the special try to be a little more legitimate?

The one with the cms? I agree I thought it was very adorable. The one thing that I would suggest too is that after the holiday season, the marching gingerbread men in the bakery scene needs to be altered also.

The commercial reminds me of Coca-Cola's "Happiness Factory" advertisement by PsyOp.

Who, incidentally, is handling this campaign? So far, the advertisements have been relatively imaginative.
