Last I heard, somewhere around 65,000. Park capacity went up significantly when Space reopened, although the Fastpass system causes more guests to be in the walkways as opposed to being in line.

      71,268.

Well, not really, but any guess would be just as accurate since DL doesn't quote specific numbers. I've heard 50K, 60K and even 80K thrown around, but I think that the exact number (if there is one) is determined by a number of items such as staffing, down rides, and of course, the fire marshall's recommendation. I'm sure that other items are factored in as well.

Some things are just not meant to be known by us mere mortals...

One of my friends took his lonely neighbor who has a Premium AP on Christmas to the park... And one of the CMs told him that it was 90,000!

But my experience is that they NEVER turn away APs, so doesn't that fudge a bit with the numbers?

There I was somewhere West of Tomorrowland

It's a nice day when you wake up in

I've never seen that written anywhere as a perk for the PAP. Is that true? I'd be really interested because I have one and I'm planning a trip at the Fourth of July this year.

They have the right to turn away AP's, you have to read the small print on your agreement with Disney. They have in the past and I'm sure they will again in the future.

I think they reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone... DAP or PAP depending on conditions.

Picture this... a family of four saves up money for years just to drive 3000 miles to go to Disneyland once in their lifetime.... they happen to show up on a holiday or a day thats esp. crowded. Who should Disney let into the gate? The family who has just traveled 3000 miles or the one who lives 10 minutes away and can go whenever.

I have an AP too but I don't expect special treatment just because of it.

I've heard this argument before in reference to The Year of A Million Dreams and all that jazz. All I'm saying is that I have experienced times when they "Close the gates" but still allow APs to go in... I never said that I deserve special treatment!

The one day attendance record is around 87,000. It was set on the 4th of July in 1987. We probably won't ever see that again since they started shutting the doors when it gets to a certain point.

We pounded this topic pretty far into the ground last week until the thread eventually ended up in the litter box. When Disneyland is "full" I think they START with stopping additional ticket sales. At this point, I think they will still allow AP holders to enter. (Darkbeer stated this happened a couple times last week.) I think the next step is to only allow guests who have a hand stamp to re-enter. At this point, if you are an AP holder and arrive at the park after they have made this decision, you're not getting in without that handstamp. The third line of defense is keeping EVERYONE out, and this appears to be what happened on New Year's eve.

Is it a handstamp that you'd need to reenter or in the case of AP's, just the computer showing that you had already entered in the morning?
