  • Adding voices to characters.

    Hi guys,
Do you think the company should add some voices to the characters? I wish that could happen in my opinion but who knows. It would feel so real and like you are part in their cartoonish world where they can talk to you which is fun. I guess I am dreaming.

I kind of which Tink wasn't gtting a voice, but it's also cute because she wil be interacting solely with other fairies, so I'm ok.

Do you mean the costumed characters in the park?
A nice idea, but there are 2 problesm with it
1.)Getting people who actually sound like it and do the voice well, also there is the sex variance (many cm play opposite sex characters)
B.) If you talk with the characters you'll want to spend more time with them and with the line to see mickey already huge, can you imagine if people tryed to hold up conversations with them
      Is this haunted signature
      actually

          Re: Adding voices to characters.

Only "face characters" have voice clearance. Actor's are auditioned for and trained for the appropriate look and sound of the character.

All others do not speak for several reasons, among which are legal issues. If a character were to say something defamatory it would open legal can of worms frequently.

Also, the costumes are so heavy and cumbersome that even the most in shape cast members are frequently breathing heavily. That in the costume itself often prohibits free motion of the lower jaw.

              I can picture it now...

Loomis: ...and that's why I find Sartre's work far less intriguing than Derrida.

Mickey: Ha ha...you make a good point, but I always remember the time you got stuck in that pumpkin patch.

              Loomis: With the rabid donkey?

              Mickey: The very same.

Loomis: That donkey was wild wasn't it?

Mickey: Couldn't be reasoned with. You, my friend, calmed him down.

              Loomis: I have a talent.

              Mickey: A gift.

              Loomis: Classic times.

              Mickey: Crazy days.

Loomis: Anyways, it looks like you have a line forming here...

Mickey: Ah, nevermind. What do you think of alternative country music...
