Ohhhh NO! And here I was just listening to my new Haunted Mansion ride-thru CD and enjoying Mr. Ravenscroft's talents yet again last night on my way home from the airport after having been to Disneyland on Saturday!

Tsk, awww, man. He'll most definitely be missed.
My fondest memory of Walt Disney was the day Disneyland opened....I was standing next to him - I was 12 years old - he was looking at the gate where people were coming through, he had his hands behind his back, he had a grin from ear to ear, but you could see the lump in his throat and the tear coming down his cheek because his dream had been realized. -- Mouseketeer Sharon Baird, "Mouseke-Memories", Walt Disney Treasures: The Mickey Mouse Club

Oh, this is sad news. His vocal work in the Haunted Mansion will have a new resonance, however.

Didn't he also sing 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch?'
                        Sad.

He's my favorite bust in the Haunted Mansion...

They should restore his narration on the DLRR to honor his memory.

Sad news. I knew he was old, but I guess I didn't think he was sick.

You will be missed, Mr. Ravenscroft.
