  • Disney Outlet Store question...

I am wanting to go, but not sure if it is worth it or not. I also have access to Co D (cast member store). What are the discounts like at the outlet and also how do you get there from the 5/55 (coming from coastal central OC)
    Ta!

It 's hard to know if it's worth it till you get there and see what they have in stock at that particular time. Sometimes it 's great for what I'm interetsed in and sometimes it's just so so.

I probably shouldn't try to give you directions since I'm from Nor Cal, but I know that we always just head straight down Harbor Blvd, cross over 91 at some point and when we see a Target store on the left, we know the outlet store is in the plaza on the right but near the back and kind of out of sight at first.

      Re: Disney Outlet Store question...

We have two locations that have been consistently open near us (Hayward and Tracy) in NorCal. We frequent both of them.

A friend of ours just had a baby daughter and we loaded up on Disney baby merchandise. 6 quality items for less than 20 bucks!

Tough to beat their deals. Books, clothing, knick-knacks, gifts, sometimes even artwork/collectibles. Oh, and did I mention pins??? hehe

It's kind of like Costco though. You never know what they'll have and for how long.

      Happy shopping!

Disney Character Warehouse is at the intersection of Orangethorpe and Harbor Blvd. If going North on Harbor Blvd. (past the 91 as stated above), turn right on Orangethorpe. Turn right into parking lot of shopping center at first signal. The store will be off to your left toward the end of the row of stores.

Ooo! I like that there is a store in Tracy. I will have to go there someday! Thanks for the info. I am hoping to get a toy or 2 for a lil guy I watch who has to have surgery on Mon. I hope it isn't to hard to find him a plush or something...

Do they ever stock clothing for dogs there? Especially small dogs? I think, by the way, that this is one general area in which Disney, for one of the few times, is behind the merchandise curve...

              .
I totally agree with PB on this one. I've been there at times and found several items at great prices, and other times, it's not so great. It's hit and miss like a TJ Maxx type of store.
I would get you lost giving directions! ha! I'd Mapquest it!

The outlet stores are not open to the public--they check i.d. when you enter.

The Character Wearhouses are open to the public. Company D is not... Here is the website for a list of locations. Not sure if there is a seperate one for Canada... Hope this helps!

Yes They are open to the public ! And the items change daily in each store, its a first come first served kind of ordeal. What may be there today may not tomarrow BUT might be back at a later time. The newest opening is at the Mattel toy outlet store, The newest Disney outlet is in the same building, Right next to the 60 Frwy at Reservoir st in Pomona.

Save this to your Favorites to keep track:

Prices and items also change daily its a hit and miss on alot of stuff, and then of course there are those items that seem to be always there at every outlet store.
"I may never grow up! Its so over rated."
But as my kids do grow up, I am Glad they have enjoyed the Disney Magic.

the last few times I went to the character warehouse they disn't have anythig of interest. Mostly small kids clothing. I ahve found some good things there before, but it's been a while...probably more than a year now, if not two years.

                              Update:
Finally got to go today. They had a lot of stuff, but for me things really weren't that great of a deal. I did get some WTP keychains @ buy 1 for $1 get 10 free and some Vanilla Granola I have wanted to try @ buy 1 for $1 get 3 free!
I think the greatest find was Sonic across the street! Had no idea we even had one in Cali! I love their cherrylimeade slushies!
