  • So Cal Resident Offer and best breakfast location???

Why isn't the 1 day Park Hopper or Single Park Day Ticket included in the So Cal Resident offer??????? At least on their site it shows them staying at the same price.

Where would you guys recommend having breakfast at Disneyland for some family that hasn't been there for a few years?

    Character breakfast or regular breakfast?

Nicest/classiest overall but no Characters: Steakhouse 55 (DL Hotel)
Biggest buffet w/ Characters: Goofy's Kitchen (DL Hotel)
Buffet or a la carte w/Characters in a nice setting: Storyteller's Cafe (Grand Calif Hotel)
Limited Buffet w Characters but inside of Disneyland: Plaza Inn
Good In-Park Breakfast (no characters): Carnation Cafe

I haven't been to the Character Breakfast at Paradise Pier, so I can't comment.

Usually, I choose Storyteller's Cafe because I think the food quality is the best of the buffets (though others are bound to disagree), even though the selection is more limited than Goofy's Kitchen. LOVE the grilled asparagus and the fact that pancakes and waffles are cooked to order and not sitting out getting soggy.

Disney wants you to visit DCA, so they don't discount the Single Park Ticket, instead you get the "DCA on another day for FREE!", as the 2fer ticket is the same price, $63.

Same with the ParkHopper, currently they are offering a second day for free, so SoCal's can get a 2 day ParkHopper for $83, the same price as the One Day ParkHopper.

They want as much money as they can, and they know a lot of folks would opt to save a few dollars off the Single Day price, and pass on the 2fer ticket. One year, they tried selling the 2fer for a few dollars more, and many folks opted to just get a 1 day ticket to Disneyland.
