  • Submarine Voyage Detour?

Someone please explain to me why the track for the Submarine Voyage in this picture
appears to split off in two parallel paths after entering the rock caves. Or is it just some
    sort of illusion?

A way to take the subs off the ride track?

They are adding a loop to the submarine ride.

That, or possibly a maintenance spur for painting or drydock.

I think you are just seeing things. Click the Bird's Eye View icon for a closer look.

Speaking of the Sub track does anything have an outline of it's patch as it travels under Autopia? I've always wondered that. Also does anything have any pictures from inside of the caverns?

I may be seeing things, but the Bird's Eye View doesn't help as that's a view
from an earlier point in time. The track has been modified since then.

I'm still really curious what they're doing on the north side of the subs and monorail track. You think they're going to do anything with it or are they just using it for equipment, etc?

I can't make much out. It could be track or it could be roof supports or it could be a concrete wall to separate the ride track with the dry show scenes.

The north area where the motor boat cruise was, is just being used to move equipment to and from the lagoon.

They had the track all cut up. It's just two pieces of track layed side by side and out of the way is all (most likely for trucks and bulldozers and such to be able to drive around).

If that was the way they remained it'd run smack into the wall of the new show building.

                  Yeah, that's what I thought.
I guess I was hoping for more.

They are definitely doing work north of the lagoon in addition to it being a staging area. They are moving all sorts of dirt and laying pipes in the old Motor Boat cruise area. I assume it has to do with the new pumping and filtration system for the lagoon.

Maybe on opening day, their gonna take one sub and dump them off a HUGE cliff. THe ones who go off the cliff are chosen based on how happy they act....So make sure youa ct happy, or you get to go off a cliff!

                        Umm...

I think this is an old picture. To me it looks like the subs go through the new extended rock cave, into the old cave entrance and exits through the old cave exit.

Nothing is changed except they extended the cave out into the lagoon...
