  • Gift Shops at the Hotels?

Do they carry very different merchandise from each other?
And does Paradise Pier carry more water/beach/tropical themed stuff?
Do they have "good" stuff or is it more touristy type stuff?

And if you buy one thing from 1 hotel but are staying in a different one, (all on property of course!) will they send it over? (and would they need that 1 day to deliver like I think you'd need if you bought something at the park?)

    Yay, thanks!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Thanks to that son of a motherless goat Pressler you can now get the same crap you buy inside Disneyland at any local Disney Store.

The Grand Californian does have some unique merchandise, not sure about the PPH (it defiantly used to) and DLH (never seen any).

I like the gift shop at the GCH, I think it is called the Acorn? I got some really cute PJs there on our last visit. Of course they say Grand Californian on them and not Disneyland resort.

i happen to like the fantasia shop at the DLH because, although it has a lot of the same stuff that i can get at the park, i can run in there on the day that i am leaving, as i don't go into the park that day, and get the things i didn't have a chance to buy in the park. plus, i can't buy the majority of the merchandise at that shop at "any local Disney Store." for example, i wanted the 2-disc DL official soundtrack, but i couldn't get it at the disney store. i had to wait til i got there to buy it either at the park or the hotel.

i'll admit some of it is touristy, but there is some really nice stuff, too!

Well the Grand Californian has actual "Grand Californian" stuff. I know Fantasia in the Disneyland Hotel has things that you would find in Emporium in Main Street, but without a huge line. The Dland Hotel also has a crystal shop, so that's different. Never been to the Paradise Pier though.

I picked up a wonderful PJ in that giftstore at the GCH at NYE, I love them!

In my experience the GCH gift store has the most unusual stuff, with their logo on them, nice quality stuff. At the DLH it unfortunately carrys pretty much what can be purchased elsewhere. IF you are into crystal, there is a very nice shop for that stuff back by the Lost Bar and the waterfalls.

                      .
I also got great PJs at the GCH gift shop. I wonder if we're all sporting the same ones? ha!

I also got a really cool heavy clay tree plaque like you see in the hotel. Anyway---it was a cool collectible that I found last trip.

My bottoms are cream and my top is a mossy green. I just found out that I am going for a couple of nights to stay at the GCH March 4,5,6 (my first time ever staying there) I am very excited, and will be looking for the plaque, it would be a very cool item to remember the trip!

How wild, yes it has the two ties for the bow, I think they are the softest and one of the nicest of my jammies. I am looking forward to the plaque pic! I am very excited about my trip. I have a friend who is a travel agent, and they do a special to encourage the travel agents to push the three hotels. It is $119 a night, but it includes 2 three day passes! I think the cost at DLH is $109 a night (with passes) and PP is 99 with passes. What a great deal!

Did you get it in the same shop as the pj's?
I LOVE it. I have the perfect place for it. How unique. Great find! You know I have been thinking what could be the perfect memento, and that has got to be it. Thanks.
