  • Fastpass Question

    Hello -
Last trip my friend was thinking out loud and said "I wonder if fastpasses would be collecters items in the future". I just saw the thread on E-Tickets or old ticket books. Do you all think that fastpasses of rides would be collectible in the future.
    Just a thought.

I actually started collecting these just in case

Maybe. I don't think they'll be worth anything, but it couldn't hurt to have a "full set" if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I think I might start saving my extra ones instead of throwing them out.

Eh, maybe. My extra ones usually end up in my Random Drawer O' Disney, especially if they're from special days. (I have a pair for Big Thunder from 7/17/05, for example.)

Well, maybe, especially if designs change. But consider this; this chamber has ....no, no, no, wait, start again.

But consider this; original Beatles' vinyl isn't worth nearly as much as other records from the 60s for the simple reason that there were so many of them compared to other records. There are a lot of FPs out there.

            A bientot.

Yeah there are a lot of fastpasses but most of them are thrown away, used or end up on the floor next to the fastpass machines (its amazing that sometimes you can find unused fastpasses on the floor near these machines.) What if they somehow stop fastpasses in the future and no one has them just as no one/very few people still have full ticket books. Just thinking out loud.

I keep them just for the sake of memories ... even my VMK fastpasses.

                  Re: Fastpass Question

Since there are so many of them (i mean were talking about millions and millions and millions) i really doubt it. But then again, most people throw them away or get rid of them so possibly they could if they are changed.

                    Re: Fastpass Question

If they are printed with a thermal printer (I forget if they are or not) then they will fade over time. So.... think about that if you want to preserve them for the long term.

I think it would be great if they became collectors' items.
One surefire way to do that, though....

They are...or at least were on thermal paper. I have some older ones that are very faded.
