  • Football teams and DISNEYLAND?

When they say "I'm going to DISNEYLAND!" In the commercial after the team wins a Super Bowl, Does the team really go to the park or is it a promotion advertisment?

The player used to come to Disneyland and be the Grand Marshall of the parade. I don't know if they do anymore.

Well, I don't know about the Super Bowl, but the Rose Bowl teams come every year. (Well, of the two years I've been here for Rose Bowl.)

I rode California Screamin' with the Texas Longhorns in 2004.

I asked this question right after the super bowl and the commercials were aired. Never heard about them showing up at Disneyland, but they also said DW, so maybe they went there and ditched us!

Yeah, I don't know if they still do it anymore. In 1998 we saw Terrell Davis (Broncos) at DL after he won Super Bowl MVP in San Diego.

Some of the Boston Red Sox were at the Magic Kingdom right after they won the World Series in 2004. There was a big parade and Red Sox decorations everywhere.
