  • hotels in disneyland

Hey, my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to disneyland august 18th to 31st and we were just looking at hotels. Any suggestions for cheap decent hotels near the resort? I've stayed at the anabella before and liked that but we've come across quite a few cheaper places to stay and were wondering where you all would recommend. I'm also most likely planning on getting a premium deluxe annual passport if that makes any difference. There were a few people here talking about the "doubletree" hotel and we were looking at that. Any tips on how to get the cheapest rates at these places? Or any tips in general would be appreciated. Thanks guys! Smiley face

Yes there has been! I wonder if one of the mods could make a sticky or something so people could access it better.

I've always had good rates and experiences at the HoJo. I've gone thru expedia and called them direct for specials they may have. I don't have much experience with any other hotels other than Paradise Pier and Disneyland hotels, but they cost quite a bit more. Ah yes, mouse savers is great, too.

I didn't know outside sources could book rooms at the Disneyland Resort Hotels!
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".

Park Vue Inn.. all remodeled and clean.. check it out.. hop skip and a jump and youre in the park.
Howard Johnsons ( HoJo) is a big hit to with some ppl but I havent ever stayed there. I prefer Park Vue cause it is right there next to food( Dennys, MiMis, Mc D'd IHOP) and you park once and dont ever have to move your car your whole trip and Its CHEAP !! with free continental breakfast.

Mickey's cool but Johnny Depp Rocks !

            Got Tiger? I do !!

Tropicana, Carousel, Park Vue, Howard Johnson, these are good close motels that are reasonably priced.

Stay away from the Castle Inn, we stayed last June and there were cockroaches. This was after their "remodel"

We are staying at the Park Vue Inn this year. My sister stayed there last year and it was clean and comfy and oh so close after a long day at the park...

oooh also everyone.. go to tripadvisor.. it isnt like Expedia and orbitz.. it lets you review the hotels you stay at.. make sure to check it out.. it helped me greatly when choosing a hotel... it has pics, links and REAL reviews from real visitors to the properties. tells of the bedbug hotels.. ( eew) and gross places no one wants to go to...
No i dont own stock in them lol.. but the sure darn helped me on my last copula trips..

                    Re: hotels in disneyland

Avoid the Castle Inn like the plague...

Which, of course, you just might catch if you spend the night there.

Cockroaches, stains of unknown origin all over the sofa and carpeting, not enough parking stalls for the guests, and rude/obnoxiuos employee's.

And AAA gave them a 3 diamond rating!!!

                    Who's paying whom off???

Try Priceline. Make an offer of $50 for a 3 star, and you could end up with the Hyatt like we have done a few times.

                    Good luck!
