  • Indy's AT&T sponsorship

Didn't Indiana Jones used to be sponsored by AT&T? When did the sponshorship end?

I'm asking because I vaugely remember there being a AT&T logo painted on that sign just before you exit by the Jungle Cruise.

YES.. They had giveaway cards that let you decypher the writing on the walls, choose wisely.

They sponsored the ride throughout their true rewards campaign which was like the first year or two indy was open.

At the end of the exit there's a sign that says "True rewards await those who choose wisely" and there was the AT&T logo. Now the logo's gone but I like the sign and am glad it's still there

AT&T pulled out about 2 years ago, maybe. From what I understand they pulled out when a bunch of others pulled out from Innoventions. In fact, I think they had sponsered something in Innoventions and when they pulled out there, they pulled out of Indy too.

AT&T does not exist anymore. They sold themselves off in pieces. SBC has their phone holdings now. I forgot who got the cell phone. I think Comcast got the cable TV side.

Cingular has AT&T wireless (SBC owns arounf 70% of cingular). The merger with SBC and AT&T is still in negotiations and doing different things to gain approval from the FCC. Yes, Comcast has their cable.
