i hope everyone feels welcome at all the meets! i was very nervous going to my first one, but everyone was very nice & accepting. the noon-hub meet merged with the single riders that day, so it really was just one big MiceChat meet. i would love to go to the august meet, too. people are people!!

Is this still tentatively set for the 19th of August, because that's a Friday and, well, as much as I'd love to go meet up with some fellow family Micechatters (and non family of course ) driving from Winnetka to Anaheim on a Friday evening does not sound like a very good thing for my blood pressure

I'm totally game for a MiceHomo meet, but why don't we make it on a Sunday rather than a Friday night? That way more people can get out there and stuff... Friday nights are really REALLY hard to get down to the park. LA traffic n' all.

Woo! I found this thread. We are discussing having a gay meet on August 21, and wanted to put that on the calendar. Not sure if y'all want it as part of the noon meet, or like a 2:00 meet elsewhere.

August 19th is a date that most people cannot make it, being a Friday, LA traffic, work, etc. etc.

How does that sound to you guys? Gay days arent till October, so this would be a preview MiceChatters only thang

OK so there is a GLBT meet posted currently for the 19th but I sent a message to old_school_goofy asking to change it to the 21st.

There is already a Singles meet at 2:00 in Snow White's Grotto scheduled for the 21st.

Should we do our own meet elsewhere or be part of that meet?

That's an idea Fantasmico. Another option would be a 3 or 4pm meet in the park. Perhaps at Fantasia Gardens or the Haunted Mansion Fountain Circle.
