  • Bringing Your iPod to Disneyland

Have any of you ever brought your iPod to Disneyland to listen to whenever you get bored?

I haven't, but I want to. And when I bring it, I hope one of the characters notice, and get a glimpse of what I am listening to. Rock music, of course.

I have not understood that recent phenomenon. Your at Disneyland, there is som much to see and hear, why would you need an iPod there? Maybe I'm just getting old.

I've wanted to bring one to DL, but then I realized that Ipods are social event killers. I'd only bring it if I went by myself. Never with a group of friends.

But my playlist would consist of Classic DIsneyland Oldies.

I take my iPod with me because it gives me something to listen to when I'm by myself.

I brought my iPod with me to listen to on the 6 hour drive to Anaheim, but I never brought it in the park. It is true that there are so many sounds at the parks and I don't see the point in drowning them out to songs I could listen to any other time I want.

I've used it for when I'm just sitting around hanging out and want to show a video to someone or play someone a song, and I also record onto mine. I wouldn't flat out zone out from everyone and ignore them while listening to my ipod though while I'm there.

It's really a different attitude when you're just there to sit around and hang out in an area vs. there to ride stuff and see things.

Get bored? At DL??? haha! That is a foreign concept to me because I live in Seattle and on my 2-3 times a year trips....I am so far from bored!!

I do bring it on the airplane on the other hand.

I bring it, but usually don't ever use it, even when I am by myself...

I always have my iPod with me. ALWAYS. I usually don't use it at DL though. I think the only time I do is in line for Space Mountain because the line is usually long and there isn't anything to look at unlike Indy for example.

And usually if I use it, I'll watch movies like Pirates or Beauty and the Beast.

I don't bring an ipod but I bring another mp3 player. Red Hot Chili Peppers is just too much for me. If you hold the headphones close to your ears it drowns out the horrible ride soundtrack.

For me, my MP3 player is useful during some of the lines when I'm flying solo.

I don't really want to walk around the park with it, but certain lines are just really dull and it certainly helps pass the time.
