It used to be the biggest until Disney Toyko built the largest parking lot. Now its 2nd biggest...

It should be a modern marvel!

Are we talking world or Disney theme parks?

According to Disney, it is the 2nd biggest in the world. (I have heard this a few times on the tram)

I believe Mall of America is the biggest? Or some parking lot in Japan.

            ???
            HMMM...
            This is from www.westedmall.com/plan/parking.asp

"West Edmonton Mall is home to the world's largest parking lot (Guinness Book of World Records). Over 20,000 parking spaces including stalls for those with special needs located near all of the Mall's 58 entrances. ..."
Is it true? I don't know.

Tokyo Disney Resort and Disneyland Resort are home to the largest parking structures. A parking structure is different from a parking lot.

its the second largest parking garage.

it is not the first because of 5 spaces.

when it was being built, my bf was a CM there. course, it could be heresay. but if most of us think its the second largest, could it be true??

                you be the judge.

What I have heard as well... West Ed is big, but from what I remember, it has multiple parking areas, and maybe a parking structure, but not as big as DL. If it is parking lots, then it is most likely the biggest.

Ok, West Edmonton called their parking lot a lot, but Detroit Metro call their's a structure. I still don't know if this is correct, because I only scanned through the article and I didn't see a date other than a ref to 1997 and a ref to 2001.

"This structure is the largest public parking structure ever constructed
in one phase. Exactly 11,492 parking spaces are provided on 10 parking levels with a total floor area of 3.9 million square feet (89 acres).
The typical parking level is 1620-by-240 feet, although most levels are
not typical due to site constraints. ..."

Does anybody have the actual amount of spaces for the DL or Tokyo structures?

The biggest parking lot in the world is the 405 freeway on any given Friday afternoon.

Funny because it is true. Thanks for the chuckle... and the tears.
That was wonderful! Bravo! I loved that! Ah, that was great! Well, it was pretty good. Well, it wasn't bad. Uh, there were parts of it that weren't very good though. It could have been a lot better. I didn't really like it. It was pretty terrible. It was bad. It was awful! It was terrible! Take 'em away! Boo! Boo!
