  • What are your Disneyland fears?

Does anyone have any wierd fears about Disneyland? Something on a ride that really freaks you out? A path you won't walk down at night? A character that gives you the willies?

Well I'll start by sharing. I'm really scared that someday I will be on a dark ride and the music or narration will turn off and the lights will turn on but the AAs will keep moving. Particularly on HM. Something about the noise of the machinery clanking and being able so see why things make the noises they do really scares me.

    What about you guys?

I wasn't really scared, but something creepy happened once.

Late one night, my friend and I were getting off of the toontown station a few hours after the fireworks.

Well, after we got off. It was just us in the Small World Plaza.
Not even fifty feet away...the gates of an empty toon town...
it was just like the Roger Rabbit movie and was freaking scary.
        Siggy siggy sig sig.

Well, I just get a little creaped out by all the dark spaces in Splash Mountain. Like, near the end, where Brer Bear's behind is sticking out and the aligator has ahold of his tale. I don't know, I get a total chill down my spine. I can never help but wonder if he's complete on the other side, or if only his butt was made. There are so many spaces like that in Splash Mountain, where it's dark like that. *shudders*
            My mind won't rest
            and I don't sleep
            Not even in my dreams...

That they'll close or spoil another of Walt's classic attractions without warning.

I hate all the REALLY dark parts on BTMRR
                Good morning, son
                In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                It was pain
                Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I still get afriad of Tower of Terror when that first drop comes even though I have gone on it 10+ times.

I was 5 years old when I went to Disneyland for the first time. For some reason I was absolutely terrified of Capt Hook. We were eating lunch and I saw him playing keep away with a girl's hair band. Although he was just playing around with her, it really scared me! When he tried to approach me I started screaming a crying. I must admit after all these years I still get a little freaked out when I see him.

I'm always afraid that I am going to smack some body part on the walls of the Matterhorn while whipping by in a bobsled!

I don't like on Indiana Jones when the snake comes at you. I have a HUGE fear of snakes and that gets me everytime.

You too? I hate that thing and will do everything possible, including paying my friends for the farthest seat away, to get away from that horrible monster. I dunno what it is about it but I can't stand it.
