  • What Kind Of Finding Nemo Sub Merchandise Will You Buy?

Just curious to find out what kind of new merchandise you are hoping will be released when Finding Nemo Subs officially opens. What will you buy? What will you toss aside if your hands come across it?

Or is there sub ride merchandise already in the park?

I'm not personally interested in any Sub merchandise unless they have yellow mouse ears, or something, as mouse ears are what I buy most often.
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".

Sadly I won't be there for opening or anytime near that really, but I personally would love to see a pin of course. That and a smashed coin would be perfect to commemorate the event for this attraction.

I would love to see a pin set, maybe of the old subs and the new.

Aside from that, unless there is some really cool "sub" related merch, I doubt I will buy anything. I think we already have our fair share of Nemo garb.

Anything that won't cost me an arm and a leg. So I guess that means I won't be buying anything.

We collect Refrigerator Magnets and Shot Glasses ... so those would be cool.

We have a Nemo and Friends magnet from Epcot so we would like to have it's twin from the Subs.

I'm going to wait 'til they shutter it up (like all of the other incarnations of the subs ride), and then I'll buy some of that ultra-rare fake seaweed on ebay!

They have only closed the subs once since it opened in 1959. I don't think they will be closing this one down soon, especially with all the money it cost to re-open it.

I'd love to see an accurate die-cast metal model of the sub. Maybe a foot or foot-and-a-half long. Working fore and aft hatches would be a nice touch.

Then I could repaint it two-tone gray like it's supposed to look.

I'll wait 20 or so years and buy the "Submarine Voyage, now Nemo-free" pin.

For all the pin lovers I have only heard of two open edition pins being released. I hope the director of pin trading at DLR, Timm, will listen to me and put some Limited edition pins out there, and as I suggested to him, a count down set similar to the one released at AK for Everest Opening. Walt Disney Imagineering(WDI) is coming out with a ride through set of four pins that show scenes from the new ride. WDI is also releasing a lanyard with the Subs new logo and a lapel pin with the logo.
I am sure they will be releasing some shirts and hats. Yellow ears would be pretty cool too.

A Nemo sub to go in my aquarium - right next to Mount Wannahalkaloogie.

I'd buy a "Fish are friends... not food" bamboo sushi mat.

Maybe even an anglerfish combo keychain/flashlight. With an outline of Marlin that lights up inside, when you turn it on.

Otherwise, I can't think of anything.

I'm sure that we will get our usual bags full of Sub stuff.

Something that I will keep my eyes specifically open for are the E-Ticket ride plates. We got the full set back when the Subs were still running.

                              Those and the gold coins.

If they do them for the Nemo Subs, I'll add them to our collection...
