1988, the year of Blast to the Past!! I was 24 and it was my first trip to the USA. I didn't know what to expect there, a the only thing I had seen about Disneyland was the wonderful world of Disney on TV. I had never, ever heard of the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, the tiki room... NOTHING, and ALL the rights were a walk on

2004, I think. La Mesa Jr. High, where my dad works as a business education teacher, had an end-of-the-year field trip for the 8th graders there and he was a chaperone and my mom and my sister and I got to go as well, free.

Worth it that time because of the Monte Cristo sandwiches at the Blue Bayou, and taking in The Haunted Mansion, my new favorite attraction at Disneyland, made so once I realized that DL's Space Mountain wasn't for me, having been raised in Florida and been a huge fan of Disney World's Space Mountain.
There's no such thing as too many books. Now go bring the 18-wheeler around.

The summer of 1967. What do I remember? Being burned by a cigarette while watching fireworks and waiting in a LONG line for POTC.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

I do not remember it. It was in 1971 or 1972 I was a baby.

there is not one trip from my childhood that stand out in my mind. We would go once a year for our b-days (born on the same day as my sibling) and although I remember bing excited to go and some enjoyable parts to the trip I also remember the not so enjoyable parts of the trip. I hated standing in all the lines. the ones that stand out the most were, all of fantaslyland, the subs and haunted mansion. I really hated those lines.

August 2002, because we were going to WDW (couldn't tell you my first visit there...I was too little to remember!) in November and my two oldest sisters would not be able to come so we all went to Disneyland. ^__^ And, yes, I do remember it!

1976, and I remember very cool instances where My dad and I rode the Motorboats, met Mickey on Main Street with my mother.
Also I vaguely remember meeting Winnie the Pooh with the "Hunny" pot on his head.

I still have my America on Parade guide and behind the scenes book and glass. Very cool.

Late Summer or early Fall 1955. I was 10. The most significant thing I remember was that we had a family picnic in the picnic area. There were 7 of us there. We used coupon books for the rides and an when you ran out of tickets youhad to buy another, there wer convienent ticket booths in each land.

                          What a trip!

It would have been sometime in 1969 as I was born in October 1968. And I don't remember.

It was in 1955 sometime after the park first opened. I was almost 2 years old. I don't remember the trip but I have seen the pictures my parents took. The park looked very different then. I have been going every year since then. Both my daughters were less than 1 year when they were first taken. They too go every year.
