  • Duck attack!

Ok, so it's less of a TR than a great story, but I HAD to share. As I was walking by today, I noticed the mama & baby ducks, so I stopped to enjoy the easter-y sight. As I walked up, there was a teenager trying to lean over and touch the baby ducks. The security guard nearby asked him to please leave the ducks alone, but before he could finish, the brat had grabbed a baby duck.

Mom went BERSERK. She had him on the ground in 5 seconds flat, protecting her young, pecking the bejesus out of his face & making my day. Stupid kid had to have the security CM save him from the duck & then got escorted off to first aid.

The ducks are my new favorite things at DL.

              Go Mama Duck Go!!!

I love how kids can be so stupid, clueless, and innocent. It's amusing to say the least.

I bet that kid was shocked. Sees a duck and thinks nothing of it. I bet mama duck beat that kid pretty good. Not only was he in pain I hope he was really embarrassed.

                      Re: Duck attack!

Good, the brat deserved it. Luckily it sounds like the mama duck won't reject it now that it has human scent because she went crazy. People need to learn never to touch a wild animals' baby.

Awesome! I adore those baby ducks. And I look forward to seeing them every year. I hate people who think the rules do not apply to them.
