  • Quick question about Space Mountain and Grad Night

I know Rock Space Mountain is supposed to be taken down real soon, but I have a feeling Disney will throw it back on for Grad Night, and that would kinda piss me off. Does anyone know anything about this?

Even if they did, you probably wouldn't be able to get on it as the line is about three hours. Out of your six hour night.
    Yay, betrothal!

The lines are really that long? I didn't think there would be more people than there are on really busy summer day. And I heard alot of people just like to hang out and listen to the music more than anything. I was expecting something more along the lines of an hour and a half wait.

When I went to Gradnite, lines weren't to bad, but you ran out of things to do! By 4am, all we wanted to do was sleep (luckily they dismissed us from school the next day! and we had 2 gradnites)
I think they will bring back rockin space for gradnite. Not sure if that is the RHCP or not.

It was Rockin' Space mountain last year for gradnight, but it wasent the Red hot chilli peppers, and the wait for it lastyear at my gradnight was about an hour. BUT that was the first ride I went to, heard it was almost two hour wait at one point.

When we got in line last year, it was a 120 minute wait. However, the lines moved faster than the posted wait time since Fastpass was disabled on all attractions for the night. So that kinda helped a bit.

They'll probably bring it back for Grad Nite, but my guess is that it'd go back to being called "RockIt Mountain" so they can actually use the sign. Who knows what they'll do for the music, though. This year's version will be significantly better than last year's. Last year not all of the lighting rigs were installed that they put in for the Rockin' version, so Grad Niters this year will be seeing a significantly improved ride over last year's.

My son said last year it was less than an hour wait.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

It depends on what nights....certain nights a plethora of schools come, other nights only a few...Towards the end I noticed it tended to be way more packed than the begining, the line for space was around 1-2 and a half hours long the entire night
