  • The beach

I have heard rumors stating there is this:

A place that looks like a beach.

This is that the Disneyland Hotel. If anyone can varify its there or tell me how to get there I would appreciate that very much.

I am planning on taking the monoral into Downtown Disney. From there I plan to walk to Horeshoe falls.

Yes, there is a little beach area w/ a pool over by where the dancing waters used to be. Its still there, but I don't know if they use it.

Is it still there after they remodeled and did DTD?

            Re: The beach

When I went there a few months ago, its still there but it looks like its not used. Just follow the path around the falls and it should be there, right by the area where they had the dancing waters.

Yes, they still use it....people just seem to ignore it and go to the Neverland pool. It is great...quiet, sandy area, not crowded!!

                Thanks so much. But:

I have not been back there in a long time. I don't even remember how to get to Horeshoe falls.

The last time I was there was way before Downtown Disney's opening.

It's right on the Disneyland.com web site. It's the first pool mentioned ("Cove Pools and Beach"), and you'll even see a brief photo of it in the Flash animated slideshow:
