  • New Security Check-In Tarps - 4/19

I was at the resort earlier today for about two hours and noticed new tarps for the security check point. They were in the process of changing them around noon today. Here's a before and after pic:

looks better if you ask me...

It looks more shaded, and it's not yellow! It is a calming green.

Looks like better shade for the summer heat - so that should be nice for the CMs working it.

I see pics. It looks nice, maybe it will be cooler under the thicker canvas for the security folks. Looks a liitle darker though, hope they can see okay under there.

I like it. On another note- this also seems to be part of a larger compaign of 'soothing cool' colors at the resort.

Spend money on Metal Detectors, not TARPS!

Ehh, I'd rather not get scanned like a criminal. Disneyland simply doesn't have the same problems that Six Flags. Metal Detectors would be unncessesary, there really isn't any danger so it wouldn't be a safety issue, but it would be a huge show issue to everyone wander through detectors and get 'wanded' because they forgot about their keys in their pockets.

Exactly what was rolling around in my head! Although I do like the idea of it being cooler for the CMs but ... still... I'd rather everyone including the CM's be safe.

I think that they should have the bag check at the gates to the parks. Cause it seams like that just ads another line.

Or they could have a separate lane for people with no bags. Of course they would make sure you did not have one.

I like them and it's the little things that count for me.

Thanks for the before/after. I forgot totally what they looked like and I was only there two weeks ago!
