  • What happened to the old Motor Boat Lagoon area?

I've heard something about a new Sub emergency exit being made in the area. But, what is actually going on in that area? Is it being filled in?

You can not be that far out of the loop. There is no more area other then the old load area. If you look at any of the monorail pics from when it reopened you will see the filled it all of that a while ago. They had to use it to get the stuff into the lagoon area.

I have some pictures of it filled in. Check out my latest photo update:

          (link also in my signature)

The photos are just about 1/2 way down the page... move the window elevator bar just about 1/2way down, and you should see pictures with descritions of the Subs from the monorail... they're in that area.

I'm willing to exchange landfilled motorboat lagoon in exchange for an active sub lagoon again, although I'm shocked it was filled in that much. The monorail almost hovers over the ground ala Tokyo instead of being high up in the air the whole time. It's probably good to have another area it can pull up to for an emergency if it needed though.
