  • "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" Tour Menu

Hey! I've been silently hanging around here for the past several months gathering information for our 10th wedding anniversary trip in August. You guys have such great ideas and insight.

I thought I would share this that I just received in an email from Vacation Planning. I would like to take the tour, but don't know if we will. We are only going to be there for 3 days and don't want to lose too much time. We have been to the park 4 times before and after reading all the info you guys have, I feel like I have been on the tour. (The only thing that might get me to go is the pin. WE LOVE PINS!!)

Anyway, enough babbling. Here is the menu offerings for the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" Tour. I have heard you talk about the chili, but nothing else. (Personally, I can see why!)

    Menu:
Chili Cornbread Souffle (A Walt's Favorite): Home-style chili, cheddar
    cheese and corn bread souffle.
Greek Salad (Vegetarian Option): Romaine chopped, cucumbers, red and
green peppers, red onion, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and a hint of
parsley topped with feta cheese and Italian dressing.
Cobb Salad: Iceberg mixed with romaine, tomato, blue cheese crumbles,
bacon, egg, and smoked julienne chicken breast served with ranch
    dressing.
Turkey and Bacon Cheddar Croissant: Honey-smoked turkey breast, bacon
layout, green leaf lettuce, tomato, cheese, mustard, mayonnaise all on a
    buttery croissant.
Hawaiian Chicken Salad Sandwich with Egg and Bacon on Croissant
Albacore Salad Sandwich: Albacore mix, green leaf lettuce, tomato, dill
pickle chip all on a buttery croissant.
All menu selections will be served with a canned beverage (Coke, Diet
Coke, Sprite) or bottled water and a "Walt's Favorite" for dessert

The turkey bacon croissant was excellent. And the dessert we had was cheesecake.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

I think the cheesecake is an automatic. It's very large and very filling. If you are going with more than one person you all get cheesecakes. Expect leftovers and they are good the next day.

I think you should do it, if you are "walt lovers" and want that inside feeling on the historical aspects of the park. I keep saying I am going to do it as well, but haven't yet...
Although I would know every fact they would tell, it is still "a walk in Walt's footsteps" ya know?

The Tiki CMs often get the leftover cheesecake from the Walk in Walt's tours. It's goooooood cheesecake.

                  Hi Booxx,

We looked at disneyland.com and called the number for tours. We booked it over the phone for a particular time and date. You meet a half an hour before the tour, give them your lunch order and off you go. There is a guided tour booth after the left tunnel going onto Main Street. Hope this helps!

I think it was aorund $44 when we went last year. It is very worth it considering you get a lunch that probably would have cost $15 in the park. Great info, private seating in the Tiki Room explaining how the things worked. All in all a must for the Disney fanatic, which is pretty much everyone that frequents MiceChat.

Boy this tour sure has changed since I took it just after it started. It was $12 then and included a ride on the Lilly Belle from Frontierland to Main Street. It is a great tour and I am sure with all the new things it is even better than before. Sounds like it's time to take it again.

Its $59, but with an AP discount, its $49. It was definatly worth it. That was even with the fact that my kids and I knew about 95% of the information on the tour. It was fun getting to see how everything worked, and getting into Club 33 was the highlight!
