All Disneyland Hotels Booked for July 17th and 18th

Just an fyi for anyone looking for hotels on July 17th (the 50th Birthday of Disneyland Park).

No rooms available. None. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Can we get a group "D'oh?"

That is too bad. There are a lot of nice places around the area I am sure that should still have some space. My wife and I recently stayed down by the John Wayne Airport, it wasn't too far away so best to look around. Happy hotel hunting!

Wow! I mean I knew this would happen I just didn't think it would happen this far in advance. Yes I'm sure area hotels/motels still have vacancy. This makes me want to double check my reservation just to make sure!

wow thats amazing that all the hotels are booked for the 17th and 18th. i guess they are expecting a lot of people to show up. im so happy that i live only 10 min away from the park. i know of some good hotels around me if anyone needs any help hotel hunting. im sure some of the nice hotels around the resort still have some room.

Just checked Expedia.com. All Disney Resort Hotels are booked, but there are still some reasonable hotels within walking distance still available.

Try Desert Palms Hotel & Suites (www.hansjihotels.com) or Candy Cane Inn (www.candycaneinn.net). Both offer free continental breakfast and free parking. Both are running at about $107 for those nights.

Okay, I booked that weekend (July 15-18, 2005) in May 2004 and the following week (July 18-22, 2005) in September 2004. Not rubbing it in just stating a fact. I am so looking forward to this. Now I just have to finish paying it off.

But Gemini Cricket is right. I'm hoping there is some sort of get-together. It would be fun to meet some other Disney freaks, I mean FANS, like me.

I forgot to mention that I got my info from Disney Travel. All rooms gone. I don't know if they have waiting lists in case people cancel...

And yes, there are rooms available at the hotels/motels close by.

Phft, supposedly I'm on a waiting list for one of the ginormous suites at the Disneyland Hotel ... the ones never made available to the publilc because all the sizable suites at the DLH and GCH were set aside for Disney bigwigs.

Oh well, I still have my regular suite at the DLH. I was hoping for something gargantuan to have a huge party in, but I guess I should just be happy at this point that I've got any kind of suite reserved.

Hey guys, just FYI. I work for Expedia and we were told that any cancellations on Disney hotels automatically revert back to the hotel itself for those dates. So your best bet is to put yourself on the waiting list there and hope for the best at this point. The online companies are pretty sure they're not getting anymore rooms. I wish I had better news, but I will post if I get anything else.

I booked our room, not at DLH though back in the fall. We have two rooms across the street on Harbor. They are stumbling distance for late night walk backs.

Okay, I just booked a room at the Park Inn Anaheim. I'm so excited. I confirmed a room facing Disneyland. PIA is steps away from Disneyland. Awesome possum!

We booked back in August for 2 rooms at the HoJo at a great rate! Im so glad we did.
