    CHOC walk questions?

Can someone tell me what the CHOC walk is? Where do they walk?, and how long does it last?
We'll be at DLR from Oct 21, to 27. I just wanted to know what this is. We might be interested in doing it.
    Thanks...

The CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) walk is very popular, and was at capacity last year. You are required to raise a certain amount of money (last year was $25) to participate.

It happens early in the Morning, and Disneyland does open later than normal due to the event (I think 10 AM).

Pretty much you just walk around Disneyland and DCA and there are a bunch of characters along the path. No rides are open.

But characters are out and you get some pretty good stuff!

Plus, it's one heck ofa cause.

It's a great cause (I volunteer at Children's Hospital weekly), and it really was a great event, and a lot of fun.

            What a cutie!
            Good morning, son
            In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
            It was pain
            Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I went two years ago and had a blast. It is a worthy cause and I know many people whose children have been treated at CHOC.

                GOOD FOR DISNEY!
I fully support the idea to help children's hopsitals.

My nephew spent time (no longer with us) in a Children's Hospital (in AZ). They need all the funding that they can get. In AZ we do fundrasiers for Pediatric Pain Management (so important and rarely done in hospitals) for our East Valley Children's Hospital. We just had a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday to expand the children's hospital and its services. We are getting ready to perform at the PHX Mercury Game on June 22, 2007 to raise money. Nothing touches the heart more than to see children raising money for other children who are terminally ill (www.blakesmiracle.org).

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.
