  • Billy Hill and the Hillbillies CD

Does anyone else have it? I picked it up at Bonanza Outfitters last night and have been listening to it since.

It was recorded somewhere in California and they don't play any Disney related songs but some of it you will recognize from the show.

All in all it's pretty good.

    Thoughts?

Bought one in April and have listened to it several times in the car. Like it a lot. It now joins the rotation of CD's we listen to on the way to the park!

I found them at the clothing store where Pendleton used to be, right behind the Golden Horseshoe. It's the back part of the store where the pins are.

Bought one several years ago and listen to it frequently.

Good music. But the live show is 100 times better!

No problem. That's what Lost Boys are for.

Since we are lost, we find things all the time. :yea:

The problem is remembering where we found them.

Ugh, I can't stand billy hill. Probably because, when I was younger, I was forced to go multiple times during our yearly trip..And I wanted to do rides. I'm more of a ride person tho.

My daughter and I were there today and sat in the side area. We love this group. I recorded this video. I don't know how to set this up to play directly here in the thread, so here is the link to it.

My friend has the CD. I am going to get it because I like it so much. I am going to use it as kids music at work.

Ironic that it was recorded near Magic Mtn. Focusses on the music, none of the comedy except for a bit a between song banter, but that's probably best for multiple listenings.

BTW, if you like this combination of bluegrass and humor, I strongly suggest that you seek out some CDs by the Austin Lounge Lizards.

                        A bientot.

You really should revisit it. We went last week and we were almost crying we were laughing so hard.

I'm glad the Billy's made a few more CDs. Last time I saw them they said their CD was for sale...but they'd have to run over to the store after the show and put it back in case someone wanted to buy it.

They pitched it last night in their show. I'm glad Disney is letting them sell it and I hope to pick it up soon.
