I would assume the same as the parade and that is a 5yr parade.

      Re: Remember

As much as I love it I was hoping it would end with the 50th anniversary. Great show but it was specifically for the 50th....or so I thought :o) Kinda like the Steve Martin movie. I LOVE that little film. But it was specifically for the 50th.....supposedly.

I still haven't seen it, so I hope until I get back.

I don't know about that. Fantasy in the Sky was Disneyland's fireworks spectacular for 42 consecutive years!

                Re: Remember

I love remember and could watch it over and over again, so I hope its stays around for a while. Although something new is nice every now and then, this is going to be a show that it hard to top. So unless they can replace it with a superior show which will be VERY difficult, I would rather keep the current fireworks.

Although I can't wait to see the new snow / ice effect on the castle in the holiday display this year.

                A little piece of heaven

They keep adding to it and making improvements. It's around for the long haul, for sure, but that's not to say it will be the same every season.

I love Remember! But if they're planning to keep the show for some time, I think they should add new effects every now and then. Not huge effects, but "enhancements" just to keep the show fresh.

While the name remained the same, there were many subtle and not-so-subtle changes to that show throughout the years.

                          Re: Remember

I saw the show Friday with my 8 year old son. It was his first time, and so I said, "Just wait, you're going to see Tinkerbell fly behind the castle."

She made her appearance, and my son said, "Daddy, there's a thingy holding her up." I was heartbroken. He is right. You can see the mechanism clearly.

IMHO Tinkerbell should go back to the old way she used to fly. It is not as impressive, but it is more realistic because you couldn't see anything holding her up (or if you did it wasn't as noticable as the mechanism is now)

Remember is a fantastic show. It has so much emotional appeal. I see no reason to change a show that has barely been around for 2 years and that Disney has invested so much time, money, and planning in.

What I would like to see however, is the "plussing," of the show - constantly adding new scenes, elements, etc. - rather than the creation of a totally new show.
