Escapism. Does that word exists? I mean...dreams, fantasy and magic come alive... can't help but that is the main reason for me.

Of course, lately it seems that not even at DL can we escape the bad manners and lack of respect from other guests and it's a rude awakening that yes indeed...we are still in the real World. Very sad.

I am going to find out all the reasons, when I come for the first time on July the 16th.

I feel relaxed at Disneyland, a feeling that doesn't come easily to me. I also have memories from the park that interweave through my life. Hard to do at any other park, this is.

Disneyland is pure magic. It relaxes you. I never worry about anything there - except what rides to do next.

Immersive, magical, Timeless. It transforms people as well, leaves all the cares and worries behind.

Because Walt didn't name it after himself, but (warning: this is a generalization) everyone thinks he did...

it's because it's neverland, the place you dreamed of when you were small and everything was going wrong, the place where the impossible not only is possible, it's likely. It's where it doesn't matter how old you are. It's where the magic began, begins, and continues. Magic is the currency of childhood, and of Disneyland-it takes you back, way back.
