  • Cut-off time for Nemo line.....

What time do you think the Nemo line will be cut off on June 11th and the subsequent days? Because the line will be multiple hours, it certainly must be cut off several hours before the park closes. Otherwise, people would still be riding at 4 am (although that would be kinda cool....)

I was just thinkin about that. I'd say by 9 or 10pm with a midnight closing time for the park. Although if the line's still stretching all the way to Small World in the evening I could see it being more like 8.

BTW Congrats on going to UT! Any school that beats U$C is fine by me.

Here's a stupid question - has there ever been a line cutoff before closing in the last 10 years at the park? This isn't Magic Mountain and X we're talking about here...

Even the first night that Space Mountain re-opened the line was somewhere around 3 hours long. We got in about 20 minutes before park closing (which was midnight that night).

I don't think they'll close the line for the Subs anytime before park closing.

          idea!

just go and get in line an hour before closing, most of the people will bail at about 1 am and then it's a walk on! lol

Wow sounds like I found my line strategy. Enjoy the rest of the park until 11:30pm and then pull out sleeping bags to get in line for Nemo!

Yeah, the park is still the park, I highly doubt the line will be over 90mins at time of park closing, even with the capacity being what it is.

90 minutes? That's wishful thinking, even at park closing - at least for the first couple weeks.

I bet the line will be increasingly popular as soon as the sun starts setting. Nobody is going to want to wait in the queue with the sun beating down on them... so getting in line as the sun is going down is probably going to be more popular... and its only going to become more popular as it gets later every night as the temperature cools down.

You guys here get far too pessmistic with queue line length. I don't think a 90min length at park closing is unreasonable at all.

We shall see... Actually I think the beginning of the worst for Nemo will be the weekend after it opens. By then all the relevant news outlets will have announced its opening.

If Space Mountain's wait was 3 hours when it reopened (with a ride capacity that I assume is better than the subs) then all bets are off for Nemo. Especially because of the point that MasterGracey made about it being cooler and also the lagoon itself will look very attractive at night with all the lighting and activity. The ride advertises itself.

now actually thinking the line will be long is optimism!
if the line is long, the ride is good!

Even if the ride was "bad" the line would still be long. The key word here is the NEW Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.
