Ok, this one's not for every time, but only for every time we're there from (near)opening to closing. At the end of such long days, my group will gather at the north end of the compass in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. One at a time, we must come up with and perform a unique and silly walk from north to south, jumping on the mid-point of the compass and always wiping our feet on the "S."
Favorite snack: I don't tend to eat much while in the park, but when it comes to the good stuff, visit either Storyteller's Cafe or Goofy's Kitchen, the selection and quality is unmatched.
Cosmo Kramer: Well I can't go back to the public courses now! I can't! I WON'T!
We let the birthday child (for that particular trip) choose which ride we go on first and which is the last ride we go on before we leave. Plus we always get them their birthday buttons for that trip. Everybody's happy (by the end of the year)!
My wife thinks I'm nuts, but when entering the park, I have to go under the right tunnel (by the wheelchairs and strollers). Can't go under the left. When leaving I have to go under the other tunnel.
We always ride POTC (assuming its not being refurbished), generally as the last ride of the evening...
Not a very unique tradition, but I always try to walk through the castle across the bridge. It is possible not to.
I also like to look up at Walt's light above the Fire House.
And when we were only going once a year I always took the kids's picture in certain areas. Like I took Shawn's by the door next to the alice ride every year.
Or should I say neighbor... We're in Brentwood. We just had lunch in Mudville last saturday at Bob's at the Marina. Ever been there?
We too have been taking pictures of the kids at the same spot in DCA since we were first there on the AP sneak-preview weekend before it opened. Never did start that in DL.
Traditionally? Go through what ever side is less crowded, get a reservation for dinner at Blue Bayou, have a cup of "decent" coffee with an apple Dessert with my wife. IT takes two people, I am not kidding. But to me it goes great with the coffee.
I was told by the waiter that the good coffee came from DCA Bakery. Sorry forgot the name. :monkey:
But it just tops off the meal nicely.

Great tradition.
Mmmmmm Bob's burgers are GREAT!! Huge but, great. We go there alot during the summer and watch the boats(me and the boys)
When we used to just go once a year the boys also always got a hat, we have TONS of DL hats.
before even entering the park...my little bro and I go to "The Flame Broiler"...a very very good chicken and rice bowl place...in fullerton...
when we get out of our cars...if we are on the farthest side of the structure...we'll go down the stairs near the center where the bridges cross over the exit ramps...so we go down the stairs...and then run across the on coming traffic...we wait of coarse when it's all clear...and hop on our trams...
We always go in the left tunnel at DL...
I scream to death on Matterhorn...i hate that ride, but my little bro loves it...Harold the ab. snowman scares me...
when i buy drinks there...it's always a frozen lemonade
We always do single rider on splash...and do funny poses on the ride...i usually come up with different ones each time...
Fantasmic...front and center seats...
always..point and laugh at the pirate with the dirty feet towards the end of the ride...except his feet are now clean...i am sad....
bargain with the other pirates for the lady in red...I usually yell out..."six"...when they do...or i'll yell out..."We want the red head"
over at DCA...not many traditions there...except for tortilla factory...when I go there...i try to be in front of the doors...i say out loud..."Maseca!!!" then...when doors open...i rush ahead...skipping the little video windows...i push both swinging doors wide open...so hard that they bounce off the side walls...and i inhale very deeply and take in the great tortilla smell...
that's all for now....do the disco duck!
Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat
All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..I'm the disco duck
We enter the left tunnel and exit the opposite one (next to Bank of DL) I can't say that I've always done this tradition. When we exit the park like cattle, I tend to find the fastest exit and go for any. :o
