              Amazing.

But I totally disagree with Trixster... We waited for about an hour and a half, and it was absolutely worth it!

I look at it this way... When Indiana Jones opened, the line was, what, at least three or four hours? For a ride that only lasts a few minutes, right?

Nemo, on the other hand, is well over TEN minutes long... which means that all that extra time spent in line is reflected in the extended show you're getting!

I'm so sorry to all those cast members who had tickets for FRIDAY'S Cast Preview, because today (Saturday) we walked right on.

The rumor was that they were accepting just cast member IDs, and not just the special tickets like they were supposed to, and the line got REAL long. Today, they changed it. So yea... walked right on.

When the ride opens to the public, they are anticipating 3-4 hours of line!!! The queue is going to wrap around the lagoon and go out towards Small World Mall! eeek!

I've done it twice now.. I think i've got my fix until the lines die down (probably in the Fall)

Oh heck no. I am not saying I wouldn't ride again. I am just not sure if I would wait more than 45mins for it. Don't get me wrong its amazing. I loved the subs since I was little and I am glad to see it back. I am looking forward to riding it again on Monday.

Re: ATTENTION CM'S: Has any of you been on Nemo yet??

I'm an Attractions CM and I've been on it three times. I clocked the ride time for Nemo at 14 minutes and 45 seconds. That's about as long as Pirates or a trip on the Mark Twain, 2 minutes longer than Small World, five minutes longer than Jungle Cruise, and about 7 minutes longer than the Omnimover portion of Haunted Mansion. It's a very long ride.

Is it worth the wait? I waited about 5 minutes for my first trip when the call went out for Attractions CM's to come test over a week ago. I rode it again that day with Attractions CM's with about a 5 minute wait. On my official Cast Member Preview trip this weekend I waited about 20 minutes.

I would wait about 90 minutes to ride Nemo again, but not any longer than that. It's a great ride, don't get me wrong, but for an adult male it's not a top priority. I was more impressed with the technology and special effects and showmanship on display than anything else. If I were a 7 year old kid or a huge Nemo fan I would probably wait a lot longer. Now that I've been a couple times, I can wait a year or more for the crowds to die down before I go again.

I have a hunch that some adults who wait for 2 hours or more might be disapointed with Nemo. It's not a white knuckle thrill ride. Non-Disney Geeks likely expect something with a "long line" to be a thrill ride, and this one isn't. But the line will still be very long.

Even back in the day, the subs were never a white knuckle thrill ride. It's more of an experience.... the Disney magic and "how'd they do that" rolled up into an E-ticket ride. Not all Disney rides have to be fast, they just need to be good. I can hardly wait! Woo-hoo Disney for bringing back the subs!
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

3 to 4 hours is only if someone gets lucky its that short. Expect 4+ hour waits instead.

I think we'd see 4+ hour waits if everybody who wanted to ride it got in line without regard to the current posted estimated wait.

I don't think the line will go over 3 hours. The longer the wait gets the less likely people are to get in line and the more likely they are to feel like the are wasting their time and stupid for waiting so long. They hear people say, whether real or imagined, how stupid it would be to wait that long, and get embarassed. I think only the hardcore would get in a 4 hour line.
