  • Does anyone remember the rubber stamps?

I faintly remember going to DL and looking for stands where you could stamp something with a rubber stamp saying you visited the land you were in. There were also footsteps leading up to the stands. This was like 12 years ago or somethin'. I just remember being really excited about it. Does anyone remember this?

P.S. I'm an admitted lurker, so yay for my first post!

I vaguely remember something like that. Very vaguely. I've only been going regularly to the DLR recently, so trips before that were very sporadic and I don't remember specifics. Oh, and welcome to MiceChat.

I'm sure there's been similar promos, so this one may not have been the one you remembered.

I used to think I was the only one who remembered those things! The stand I remember the most was in the Small World plaza, near where the camera/film kiosk is now. Go figure.

Depending on your age you might be thinking of the "passport" gimmic for when the area where Motorboat Cruise and Fantisyland Autopia was Disney Afternoon's. Youngsters were given a "passport" book to carry around and get stamps of Darkwing Duck, Gummy Bears, Tail Spin, Duck Tails, etc. If my memory serves me correctly there was no prize for collecting all the stamps, it was just cheep advertising.

I remember Thumper's Easter Scavenger hunt rather fondly. Stuff like that is so memorable for kids, I just hope all things like that aren't subject to special admission like Mickey's Halloween Hunt.
