We all know that a large part of Disney's impeccable ambiance is the piped in music, and wonderfully detailed attraction audio. What bit of musical magic do you consider to be the ultimate Disneyland audio and how does it impact your experience at the park?

I came across a loop of NOS atmosphere sounds where a "fine Southern lady" is talking to her cat who has destroyed her room and then talks to her parrot (with a really smart mouth) and then hears songbirds sing the Tiki room's bird anthem "Let's all sing..." I think it was piped from shutters above NOS.Best interview answer: My biggest weakness is my honesty...I can never remember my lies!

Critter Country
I am partial to the critter country loops with music from "Song of the South" They had a real magical feeling to that corner of the park, and sitting in the lower level of the Hungry Bear early morning and listening to that when it's still quite, you can't beat it!
When it's time to go home and visit...It's time to go to Disneyland!!!

I love the music that can be heard as you walk through the castle into Fantasyland. Nothing says Disney like a loop of Disney movie music!
Also the live music performed in several areas (ok, not as many as there used to be) of the parks. Like the great steel drum band of Adventureland, and the barbershop quartets of Main Street--you just can't beat the ambiance there!"And don't underestimate the importance of BODY LANGUAGE!"

I LOVE the garbage can dudes in Tomorrowland."Somebody need me too much; somebody know me too well. Somebody pull me up short, and put me through hell, and give me support for being alive. Make me alive. Make me alive! Make me confused; mock me with praise. Let me be used. Vary my days. But alone is alone, not alive. Somebody crowd me with love, somebody force me to care. Somebody let me come through, I'll always be there as frightened as you, to help us survive being alive."

This sounds funny, but I really like the music in the Tomorrowland Space Mountain bathroom. It is a rerecorded mix of old Tomorrowland and EPCOT tunes. Really well done. I believe that it was meant to be the area music for the Tomorrowland 2055 project that never got off the ground. In any case, it is an awesome soundtrack.Last edited by Dustysage; 02-03-2005, 01:38 PM.MiceChat 101: Be NICE! If you don't play well with others, you are in the wrong sandbox.

Gah! Too many options! I love them all!! *Implodes*
If forced to choose with, like, hot pokers though, I'd have to say nothing gets me in the Disneyland mood like the inimitable theme from Fantasmic. It's so rousing and triumphant and unmistakably Disney; I can't help but feel excited when I hear it.Visit me at HeatherOrth.com!
