They will be making the annoucement on July 17th.

It will be themed to Finding Nemo. The ride should be very cool.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

May the Gumballs Be with You...Always.

It's a Finding Nemo attraction using the old track and subs but new animatronics due for opening in 2007.

Since it's not officially announced yet, I can still hope it's a modern reworking of the original research sub theme complete with giant squid attack, motion base sub shaking, hull ruptures, a warning you might get wet and, of course, hot mermaid chicks in the lagoon.

Yes - there is always hope. But all signs point to Nemo. Several elements of the old subs will reamin though. And they are really tearing up the old lagoon, way more than I thought they would.

They ought to fill the lagoon with water and let us swim with mermaids. Ooh la la!

Well I hate the concept of a cartoony Finding Nemo ride in Tomorrowland. Nice movie, and possibly even a good attraction, but it's in the wrong place.

in view of all the testing that's going on, there is a possibillity that some sopjosticated special effects will be added to the subs themselves. It's already been announed that dry to wet effects will be added to the portholes. I'm hoping that there will be some sort of an attack (perhaps a squid) which causes your sub to shake. A hull breach would also be cool, complete with rickety rattling and water seepage - maybe even a tentacle or two.
