  • Space Mountain Pics - possible spoilers

So my space crew and I were up at the crack of dawn at 645 am to be at dl by opening. good thing we did, we rode space twice before 9am and no more than 20 minutes waiting! anyways here's some pics...mostly queue pics...

pretty neat launch pad in the center. this was at opening so hardly anyone was there.

    space in all its glory...

those are the first official guests to ride space mountain

so i was talking with the cm there, each of those represents a space mountain in the world(not sure which one is ours). notice on the bottom right that the little figure- that was was the interior from our old queue, and on the bottom left is the new interior of the queue.

here's the effect from the tunnel before launch

I love the changes to the "spaceship" that hangs in the station. It's looks way more futuristic now. Glad to see the old 1970's exit ramp is gone now too.

The launch pad on the roof of Honey is wayyyyyy better than the old orange tiles.

I also hear that Space Mt has a cool new lighting package at night too.

NO there is no escalator or speed ramp. You now have to WALK up the steps to get out of the building.
