I never got to go to Disneyland as a child .... maybe thats where all my problems stem from. Doctor we've made a break through !!!!!

Since i didn't have a fav ride my fav Disney memory was listening to the Cinderella Book on the little record and following along in my book, I can still hear the sound of the waving wand to indicate it was time to turn the page. Good times.

Pretty much the same as now Peter Pan, Pirates & HM, with the addition of Adventures Thru Innerspace & the Motorboat Cruise.

I loved that ride as a child and I still do.
No worries, Pirate Wench! I have ALWAYS loved Small World. I think its a great colorful ride with great music that is very immersive for kids, and as adults we can appreciate the message of the attraction as well as it's significance as a park icon. Great post!

As a young child, my favorite ride was usually always a toss-up between Mr. Toad and Autopia.

At DL, Adventure Thru Innerspace always fascinated me.

At WDW, the forward effect on "If You Had Wings" will
    always be remembered fondly.

Not just the submarine voyage, but being able to look across the lagoon, and see the Subs, Peoplemover, all 4 monorails, skyway, and rocketjets all operating. Now, at the same spot, you can see the observatron, the Exiled Subs in the caverns, and maybe a monorail.

The Submarine Voyage was/is one of the best/simplest rides in Disneyland

peter pan, dumbo, and pirates.....I don't enjoy pirates or dumbo as much now, but peter pan is still fun. Probably because I only go on it like once a year still...

    Autopia!

I'd go on it again and again until I could drive through the track completely in my own control. No bumping any concrete, or rails, or anything.

As a teenager I used to go every weekend and hang out at Videopoplis. I miss that place. I also miss Adventure through Inner Space, but I do love Start Tours....I'm torn now
