  • How comes Madame Leota's head doesn't float anymore?

I was at the park two days last week and noticed that Madame Leaota's head is back on the table and no longer floats.

Is there a reason for this?

Does it have something to do with florida because they are right now in the process of revamping their haunted mansion?

Did they decide that the floating leaota head was too gimicky?

I don't mind either way I was just wondering.

It works most days, if for some reason the projection isn't working properly, they just have it sit still like it used to.

It was working properly on Friday. Flawless floating as usual, with no projection problems.

Sometime she feels like a float, sometimes she don't.

Poor Leota. Hope she feels better and floating again next time I go!

I actually would like to see her head not floating at least once when I go on it sometime.

After reading the HM thread I think what was intended originally was as you enter the seance room, you enter from behind the medium's (Mada\me Leota) chair and you hear her talking. So you expect the medium is actually a person sitting in a chair. But instead of it being an actual person it is really a head inside a crystal ball.

After learning this I kind of hope to see the ball sitting on the table once again. Not permanently but just once again so I can see if this original intention packs the weight that it supposedly was originally intended to do.

                              Projection problems???

I'm pretty sure that the new Leota no longer uses image projection to create the effect. I saw it once with the lights on--crane, cable, crystal ball, and I'm pretty sure that the efect was an interior effect.
