The Final HSM Pep Rally at DCA - 7.29.07

Last Sunday was the final day of performances of High School Musical Pep Rally at DCA. According to the press release that was posted on MiceChat last week, a new show will debut in California Adventure on August 18--a day after the airing of HSM2 on the Disney Channel.

We've truly enjoyed watching the Pep Rally whenever we visit the parks. The songs are fun and catchy. Kids love it. And the performances by the energetic cast members are wonderful. We made a quick trip into DCA for a couple hours last Sunday afternoon to bop to the top and get our head in the game one last time.

While we're sad to see the Pep Rally come to an end, we know that a new HSM show will debut in just a few weeks. And you'll be sure to catch us watching it at DCA later in August.

A big THANK YOU to all the CMs--performers, crew and staff--who were involved with the Pep Rally. It was always a highlight of a visit to DCA. Whether shooting the inflatable basketballs (and missing badly) or doing our best Wildcat claw dance move, it was a lot of fun. We can't wait for the new show!

It's all over. *sniff* I'm sad that I didn't see it half as much as I would have liked to. It was a great show, and had some awesome CMs.

i filmed the final performance with a friend. i think i'm done editing with it but it was way overexposed on the 2nd camera so i'm doing what i can to correct it to a noticable but managable level heh

almandot, that's cool!!! You used two cameras? What a great idea! Will you be able to post your video online when you're done? It would be a lot of fun to watch!

hey fellow wildcat here!!! so i wasnt big on the parade, the songs just arent the same with different people. so theyre just making a new hsm parade???

Hye Wildcat!

They aren't the same, but it still has that great HMS feel to them. ANd I always liek to watch the solos performed live by some talented singers.

And there will be a new parade based on HMS 2. Though i think it's funny they're having all the "School's Out" stuff for the new one, but it's premiering right when people are heading back to school. )

I made my mom watch HSM tonight for the first time. She at first was totally critiquing it then towards the end I looked over and she was crying. I like the girl in the yellow hoody/jeans/blue shirt's outfit. And while I am a HUGE fan of Mary Jane shoes the ones the main girl is wearing, not cute. The middle part? Ew. A nice Naturalizer wedge heel. It feels like a sneaker.

I'm a big HSM fan of both the movie and the pep rally. I sure hope the HSM 2 pep rally is just as good. Some of the new songs be catchy, but we all know what kind of reputation movie sequels have....
