  • Pluto Outed at Goofey's Kitchen --- Film at 11.

My 7 year old, whom we try and try and try and try to help her maintain the magic that everything at Disneyland is real, came up to me yesterday and said :

"Daddy, I have bad news for you. I didn't want to tell you but Pluto is not real. When we went for Breakfast at Goofey's Kitchen, we took a picture with Pluto and I saw Velcro on his back."

    Outed by Velcro.

I would have said that Pluto just had some surgery and they closed it with Velcro. Of course I am sure that would be even more traumatic, but I am evil that way.

        Too cute!

Did not expect the Velcro line>

We have an adorable picture of our last puppy playing with Pluto, and you can see it when he suddenly can sees the "magic", his whole demeanor changed. He is trying so hard to look "inside" cause he suddenly knows the truth. Its not a big yellow toy!
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Pluto need the velcro because having no thumbs it is impossible for him to tie a bow?

I mean, Velcro? Of course it's got to be Velcro.

Funny. Reminds me of the time I took my now 9 year old to see the fireworks.

I was so excited to show him that Tinkerbell actually flies during the show, and when he saw this part he said, "Daddy. There's wires holding her up."

Show pictures show pictures! Oh! I am all excited, Pearl (the puppy in the picture) at Disneyland... so looking forward to that!

Poor little girl realized too fast. I think I realized Disney characters weren't real when Tarzan hit on my sister.

                  That's a riot.

A child's innocence is so cute, reminds me of the time a young British girl was in Mickey's dressing room. She grabbed him in the crotch and sweetly said "Mummy, Mickey's got no wee-wee."

I love how she is concerned over your feelings, that she has bad news for you. How sweet.

Don't all dogs have velcro on their backs?
