  • Want to help my 11yr old budget?

My daughter and her cousin have been spending the whole morning budgeting for our upcoming disneyland trip.

Does anyone know how much mickey mouse ears are??
Do they sell charm bracelets and charms there? We got some at WDW and she'd like to add some disney ones as well.

    TIA!

I don't remember exactly but I think classic black Mickey Mouse ears are between $ 10 - 12.

^That's right. And if they want any more of the newer designs, they'll cost maybe $3-5 more.

There are charms on Main Street in the watch/jewelry shop. I think, individually, the charms cost $15-20, if memory serves correctly.

My personal suggestion, if the charms are too pricey for what they'd want, to instead purchase a nice glass bracelet in the glass shop in New Orleans Square...they come in multiple colors and have mickey heads on them. They're actually very nice-looking and cost $15. Good value, IMO.

Yes, those are the ones! They were 3.50 ea at WDW last year. She just wants the DLR ones to add to her bracelet.

When are you guys planning on being in DL? Just wondering, since you are coming from Canada, I was hoping you picked a time when the weather and crowds will be friendly!

Last December we purchased a inexpensive charm bracelet at the big store by Star Tours exit. I think it ran around $15 and the granddaughter was thrilled with it.

We're going Oct 25-30th. We went once in december 25th and we wore shorts and tshirts. The locals were in toques and winter jackets.
The only time we have had bad weather down there was in Feb 2000, we got some rain but it wasn't anything like we get up here!

Absolutely, I've seen the inexpensive charms in quite a few locations.

I know for sure that World of Disney in DTD has a pretty big selection.

Elly you are sooooo right. Us warm people get down there and so enjoy the weather, while the locals are running for heaters. Rainy days are great. Everyone is home hiding and we are riding rides with no lines! Who cares if your butt gets wet, I have three grandkids, been there done that! We are going to be there from the 10th till the 16th of December, we love the weather!

The young ladies on the budget for DL how have they been raising money??
