  • Dinosaur/Countdown To Destruction in Tomorrowland

I was thinking, wouldn't a Dinosaur ride, work in Tomorrowland. I know that, the one in AK is the same layout as Indiana Jones, but what if they designed a new ride/track design. Maybe, they could incorporate the Test Track style track/cars. It could be interesting.

Sounds like a rather good idea, but how exactly would dinosaurs relate to the "World on the Move"?

Actually, I'm surprised no one has thought of this before...it's an intersting idea. The themeing would have to be done a little differently than what it is in the Animal Kingdom, but it would work with the Time Machine and all... I like it.

LOL. At least that's gone now, so it would be the only dino ride in the area...

Isn't that the Knotts themed Time Machine ride?

Why just dinosaurs? That sounds like the weakest part of this idea, especially with the Dinosaure Primeevil section of the train still active.

The Time Machine ride that travels to various era sounds great- Carousel of Progress meet H.G. Wells Time Machine

And the time machine idea, while good, wil be compared to Back to the Future...

I think it would go better in DCA since it is the same ride mechanism as Indy. Also, they need large, grand scenes, like Indy's main room... Not the little scenes in Dinausaur that are no more impressive than a Ripley's lobby.

Now that DLR has a sponsorship package with Honda, I would prefer a Test Track type ride with the new technology of "Tomorrow". But it won't fit anywhere in Tomorrowland.

                              1) The CA theme is dead. Nothing that has been added since the park opened has been specific to the CA theme. Long live the non-theme of Aladdin and Monsters and Pixar parade and cartoon bugs and Brother Bear play area.....

                              2) It could be a trip back to the last ice age through the La Brea tar pits, then further back in time to when the plants that later became the tar were alive.....
