    Indiana Jones . . . Forbiding Eye ?????????

It would be nice (and also seem more reputable) IF they
were to get the CORRECT names of the attractions on their
    list.

I seem to recall, that even though they claim to "balanced geographically"
in their surveys, there still is much bias in the way they "balance" their
demographics. If you weigh and change what are the most important
factors in a theme/amusement park, it could drastically change what is
considered "best". IS spiderman REALLY that much better than Pirates at DL?
IS ToT at WDW REALLY better than Indy at DL? IS Cedar Point REALLY
27% better than DL and 30% better than TDS? What age ranges consider
what are the best attractions and the best parks?

They are trying, BUT I don't really don't think polls like this have much validity.
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

      BWAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHA!!!

Any poll, awards, survey, or the like where Holiday World beats out Disneyland for best park is complete garbage.

Holiday world is an average water park connected to an average amusement section with a couple first rate coasters. Nothing more. . Fun, but not even close to Disneyland's league.

seem to recall, that even though they claim to "balanced geographically"
in their surveys, there still is much bias in the way they "balance" their

Bingo. All one has to do is look at their results to know there is a severe demographics problem.

There is no way Cedar Point is better that DL. I worked there for 4 years and it can't hold a candle to DL!

These awards are a pathetic joke!

This is my favorite. Under friendliest park staff:

            "Disneyland Orlando, Fla. (Tie) 3%"

Ya know, I always did think the Florida Disneyland had really friendly staff. The Golden Tickets seem like such a joke in some categories. For instance, Knoebel's beating out Epcot for best food? And out of the 4 parks in WDW, why is MK the one that got votes? Epcot and AK are far superior. I never really considered ToT to be a dark ride either, but I guess I could be wrong. The Golden Tickets seems to love Cedar Point, Knoebels, and Holiday World for some reason. I know we may be biased being the Disney fans that we are, but Disney only winning one award? Seems like a bit of a joke to me.

Cedar Point better than DL? The same company that owns Knott's? Something doesn't add up here...

                Best Dark Ride:
Haunted Mansion / Knoebels Amusement Resort: 20%
Call me ignorant, but couldn't Disney sue for usage of the Haunted Mansion name? Isn't it copyrighted?

Halloween Horror Nights 16 was the best haunted event.
I guess these Golden Ticket Awards can be bought....suprirsed? Not really.

Cedar Point is a very good park.

I prefer DL, but I would say at least 75% of my friends would rather go to Cedar Point and ride the coasters.. which are Second to none.

Islands of Adventure (9%) better than DL (6%)?? C'mon. I'm far from being a blind DL fan, but that's just silly. It seems to me that these park ratings are heavily influenced by thrills. Don't get me wrong, The Islands of Adventure is a good park, but it's no Disneyland park.

And how the Magic Kingdom in Orlando doesn't even chart as one of the 'friendliest' parks is a joke!

The only parks that likely put any value in the Golden Ticket Awards are those who aren't owned by Disney and need this sorta thing so they can toot their own horn in marketing campaigns and what not.

These awards are meaningless to me.

The name is so generic that I think Disney would have a hard time with that one. I also don't know much about Knoebel's but it is an old park. Does anyone know if their Haunted Mansion is older than Disney's?
