  • Has anything ever fallen off a float?

has any of the props ever fallen off the floats of past parades because everytime I look at the aliens on the toy sotry float for BPB they shake and it kinda makes me think they are going to fall off.

I remember an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos where Brer Bear fell of the float. It was pretty funny too...

At MousePlanet it was said something did fall from one of the BPB floats and it hit a guest in the head. I guess there was bleeding but it wasn't very serious.

Pieces fall off of costumes. On May 5th, one of the "wind up" parts of the Pinocchio dancers fell off. A manager was carrying it all the way down the parade route.

I saw Boo lose one of her "decoy" eyes on her costume in BPB.

I did see a one of those female dancers that dance in front of the Areil float in PoD drop her "pearl" and run after it. She must have felt embarrased.

I saw Alice trip on a trolley track once. It's not technically falling off a float, but it was kinda funny...

Yes stuff falls off but it is picked up quick. In the Aladin parade the cammel with the giene taking a bath lost its head, the giene not the cammel. I have also seen a float get caught on a light pole in town square and break off some pieces. Like I said most never see this because it is piked up or coverd quick.

In one of the Christmas Fantasy Parades I saw Ariel's top(seashells) fall off. This event, that's happened more than once, is probably why she wears a body suit in the new parade everyday, instead of just when it's cold.

I have a small piece of one of the lights off a float from the electrical parade. Does that count?

I've never seen anything fall off or even noticed it, but I'm sure it happens so I guess it's a testament to the people who take care of stuff like this. I have read some wicked things about WDW parades, though....

I personally fell off a float in the SpectroMagic parade (I was a Fantasia Ostritch) and Buzz Lightyear's foot went flying off the float in the DMGM Toy Story Parade. (The Ostritch jumped back on the Spectro float and Buzz's foot landed amongst the "worshipping" LGM's on the float. Luckily Buzz was high enough off the ground that if he didn't move his left leg it would''ve been hard for anyone to see my sock.)
