Why doesn't Madame Leota float?

As I was going through the Haunted Mansion Holiday today I was wondering why Madame Leota doesn't float during the layover? Is it because the projection won't work correctly due to the cards floating around?

What would her dialogue have anything to do with it?

It's probably because the oversized black-lit tarot cards light up the room too much and would reveal Leota's strings.

That's what I thought on both counts! Why would her dialogue have anything to do with that, and looking at the oversized cards I wondered if they had something to do with it as well.

The string is fairly easy to see before the overlay.....so of course they don't want to make it totally obvious.

maybe they havn't programed the video from the projector to match the floating ball.

Not for me! With contacts or glasses, I have 20/20 vision, and my night vision isn't bad, but I can't make out the wires above Leota. Maybe the part of me that doesn't want them to be there is winning.
