Hi,
First post... Dont know if this is the right spot or not but figured Id jump in.
I have been living a short distance from Disneyland my entire life. My dad used to clean up Disneyland in high school and would say hello to Walt as he rode his bike every morning. With my Dad being rooted with Disney from the start along with his attention to detail (haunted with that) he would always point out what made the park perfect in so far as design goes.
Ill get to my point...
After riding Poo, Buzz Light Year and Monsters Inc. I noticed one thing they all had in common... They all follow a basic path from "room" to "room". Monsters Inc is the worst offender. Its a subdevided warehouse psace that follows a ground level route.
On the old rides like Haunted Mansion, Pirates Alice in wonderland, etc... Theres height fluctuation to the path your on. I think this adds a little detail that makes you feel like there was effort put into the ride. We can identify all the other details lost, but I think that this simple construction enhancement would add so much more to the rides.
Agree?
