List of Refurbs

I was wondering if somewhere on here or on another site if there is a list of the confirmed rehabs and their dates (for example Small World being down most of next year). We are thinking about making the trip down in early Feb08 and I just want to know what might be "behind the walls" around that time and see if we might adjust a week or two in one direction or the other.

Thanks for the suggestions. Disneyland.com's calendar doesn't go out that far in advance. They only have info through the end of the year. One of the attractions we are concerned about is the Haunted Mansion. Is it normally back up and running from the HMH take down the first week of Feb?

I think so if my memory serves. It will be running until Jan 6 so hopefully a month will be long enough unless they decided to plus it some more.

Disneyland

• Disneyland: The First 50 Magical Years closed through September 28.
• River Belle Terrace closed through December 14 for remodel.
• Casey Jr. Circus Train closed through October 5 for refurbishment.
• Storybook Land Canal Boats closed through October 5 for refurbishment.
• Alice in Wonderland closed October 8 - November 20.
• "it's a small world" closed October 22 - November 8 to install the holiday overlay.
• "it's a small world" reportedly will close at the end of January 2008 for a nine-month refurbishment, and should re-open in late October.

Disney's California Adventure

• California Screamin' may open at 1:00 PM Monday - Friday through Fall 2007 due to construction for Toy Story Mania!
• Golden Dreams closed November 1 & 2 to remove the Halloween show.
• Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue will be closed from November 26 at least through the end of 2007.
• Midway Games closed for an unknown duration. The future of the games has been somewhat questionable due to the Toy Story Mania project, but some of the games remain open for now.
• Toy Story Mania! under construction. Opens 2008.

They usually have what rides are going to be down in there weekly Disneyland updates.

Is the Haunted Mansion going to be down on MLK weekend? If memory serves me, it usually closes a week before IASW to take down the Halloween overlay... Last year it was closed on MLK weekend, and I was disappointed because it was my 16th birthday, and HM is my favorite ride. Heh.

The re-opening of the Haunted Mansion is dependant on whether or not Imagineering will get to go in and add the new show effects from WDW's Mansion.

I'm not going to get my hopes up that they'll add the new features though, becuase Small World will be down for its extended rehab and they don't like to have two major crowd-eating E-Tickets down at the same time.

Wow, IASW down for nine months.... wonder if they are going to add a loop to it.....along with a new way to make that &%^#$ song stuck in your head longer....
