So what are your suggestions for a great breakfast in the park area? What makes your suggestion so good?

I love the Carnation Cafe! Its very nice and right on Main Street. Its a nice way to start off the day as you can people watch in a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The service is great (my friend works there) and they have some of the best chefs. Like all of the restaurants they do take reservations over the phone. So be sure to call 714 781 DINE. If you end up not eating there for brekfast, I suggest having either lunch or dinner there. Its small, but great.

I will second the Carnation Cafe.

I enjoy getting there early (with Priority Seating) and enjoying sitting near Main Street and watching the crowds go into the park. The morning also seems to be when Main Street is more alive, with the band, the Main Street Vehicles, and entertainment (Dapper Dan's). It is a great way to enjoy Main Street USA IMHO.

Also the Croissant Benidict is yummy!

I will 3rd the carnation cafe!!!!!!

Its a great place to people watch and see little kids walk down main st completely dazzled by all the lights and everything....

I liked eating breakfast at Cafe Orleans. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was pure gold! We sat right in NOS, watching the river and the people pass by..
Carnation cafe is great, too!

Carnation Cafe gets my vote as well! When I used to live there and spent a ton of time at DLR, the waiters there got to know me by sight...even when I just walked by!

Carnation. If Riverbelle was open, I'd still suggest Carnation. I've never had a really decent breakfast at the RB. Sad, because it's in such a great location. Maybe Cafe Orleans food is better.

Cafe Orleans is by far my favorite. The food is great, and the patio seating is very charming.

Their Creole Eggs Benedict is AMAZING, and they also have Mickey Mouse shaped pastries if that's what you are looking for.

Add me to the Carnation Cafe persuasion. I've never had a bad meal there be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We eat at Carnation at lease twice a month. Good stuff!

I simply can't eat breakfast in the park after having the fantastic buffet at Storyteller's Cafe. Nothing in the resort can beat their breakfast.

We love the Riverbelle.
Yes sometimes it is not really piping hot...
But never the less, Our entire family can all get a table together, and watch the silly fools who don't go early, and we eat and laugh because we have already ridden everything, and it's only 9:30am!
I love Cafe Orleans also because it isn't crowded either. I find the food about the same quality, but I think it's pretty good actually. Carnation Cafe is excellent of course, but not always in my budget.

The only place I've eaten in the park was the Plaza Inn and I don't suggest it. The French Toast was so crunchy with sugar it was inedible, it took forever for fresh fruit to be brought out. It wasn't worth the money.

Looks like Carnation Cafe is winning. I do like the food there, looks like I will be checking out the breakfast selection.

But whats this about the buffet at Storyteller's? What is the selection of food? Is it all you can eat? How much is it?

Since we go to DL so often I never had to look up the info on resturaunts on DL before, is there a place I can check out the menu items for Carnation Cafe and Soryteller's?

I'll agree with both these...

Carnation - and saying hi to Oscar. That man is a National Treasure - or should be at least.
